1. Information We Collect

Teleprompter: Video Maker is designed to work locally on your device. The app itself does not transmit your personal content to us.

• Scripts & app settings: Text you write and your preferences are stored locally on your device.
• Video & audio recordings: Recordings you capture are stored locally in the app and are only added to your Photos library when you explicitly choose to save them.
• We do not collect your name, email, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers.

2. Device Permissions

The app requests the following permissions only to provide its core features. You may grant or revoke each in Settings › Teleprompter: Video Maker.

Permission	Why it is used
Camera	To show a live preview behind your script and to record video of your sessions.
Microphone	To record audio with your videos and to enable hands-free voice-controlled scrolling.
Speech Recognition	To follow your spoken words and scroll the script automatically. Audio may be processed on-device or, where on-device recognition is unavailable, by Apple's speech services.
Photos (Add Only)	To save the videos you record to your photo library when you choose to export them.

Teleprompter: Video Maker does not request location, contacts, or tracking permissions.

3. How Your Information Is Used

• To display and scroll your scripts over the camera preview.
• To record, review, and export your videos at your request.
• To remember your preferences (such as speed, font, and layout).

We do not use your content for advertising, profiling, or training any models.

4. Third-Party Services

• Apple Speech Recognition: If on-device recognition is unavailable, spoken audio may be sent to Apple for transcription under Apple's Privacy Policy. This data is handled by Apple, not by Crispapp, Ltd.
• Apple Photos / System Frameworks: Used only to save media you export.

If you later add third-party services (e.g., analytics or cloud sync), update this section accordingly.

5. Data Storage & Security

• Scripts and recordings are stored locally and protected by iOS Data Protection (encrypted at rest while your device is locked with a passcode).
• We do not maintain a backend database of your content.
• Deleting the app removes its locally stored scripts and in-app recordings. Videos you have already exported to Photos remain in your photo library.

6. Children's Privacy

Teleprompter: Video Maker is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Because your content stays on your device and is not collected by us, you retain direct control over it. Where applicable law grants you rights over personal data, you have the right to:

• Access / Portability: Your scripts and recordings are available directly within the app and the Photos library.
• Deletion: Delete individual recordings in-app, or remove all local data by deleting the app.
• Restriction / Objection: Revoke Camera, Microphone, Speech, or Photos access at any time in iOS Settings.
• Non-Sale (CCPA): We do not sell or share your personal information.
